Physical Education

Before lockdown there were reports showing that only 33% of children were doing less than 30 minutes physical activity a day.

The current guidelines state that children should participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day.

Recent reports during COVID-19 show that 1 in 10 children haven’t been doing any daily physical activity.

We know that for some children school is the only way for children to participate in any physical activity and we know that doing this improves their health and wellbeing, behaviour and concentration in school.

Empower Active can provide high quality Physical Education, following schemes of work that meet your schools needs.

We can follow the national curriculum for Physical Education and ensure children are working on their fundamental skills, we provide assessments at the end of each term to track pupil progress.
